GOLDEN TEXT: 2ND PETER 2:20-22
For if after they have escaped the pollutions or the world through the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and are overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them if not to have known the way of righteousness than after they have it, to turn from the Holy commandment delivered unto them. But it happened unto them according to the true proverb, the dog is turned to his vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
THE ACCUSED:
Beloved the above texts constitute judgement to everybody. The three text signify the three classes of people on earth. The first class are those who know this truth, the second class are those who have seen this truth and after seeing it, go back to wallow in darkness. The third class are those who have never seen the truth and are content in their position with the arch deceiver.
This judgement will affect the murderers, adulterers, fornicators, socerers, thieves and those who go about committing every evil. On the other hand, you have been told of what awaits the true children of God who do not have anything to do with evil.
If you bear witness that you are a man of God, persevere in tribulations and do not drink, fornicate, eat meat and fish, then you have substantiated your claim. But things change and you start suffering and in the end you declare fully for sin, are you truly a man of God?
The question is, if things are difficult with a man of God, what do you think awaits you a sinner?
Consider the situation where three persons are faced with the problem of choosing a career. The first person decides to go to school and he continues in his studies and after a while, decided to stop going to school. His excuse is that education is such a difficult venture. The second person continued but could not make passing grades in the examination. The third person did not attempt going to school at all. What do you think about these three persons? This constitutes the different types of persons in the world. No person has a unique purpose for life.
It is said that judgement will begin in the house of God, where are those who know God? Right from what man calls the first church: the Roman Catholic Church, Apostolic, Trinity, etc., are made up of plagiarized doctrines.
In these places, the people engage in idolatry and other forms of evil practices, after which they return to the churches, claiming to worship the true God. But the truth is that they do not know how to go about it. These people are in the first group. The second class of people belong to the churches under the pretence of worshipping God, but they do not want to be associated with truth. They indulge in acts of immorality. The third class of people are those who have never known God in their life time.
People claim to be church goers, but are not versed in the word of God. The man who formed the Roman Catholic church was Boniface and he knew no single word of God. Martin Luther, the founder of the Lutheran Church could not boast of a single word of God.
Also John Wesley who brought the Methodist Church and all other arms of the so-called Protestant churches could not boast of one word of God. This is also applicable to all others who claim to have attended all the churches in the world.
An adage has it that to kill an elephant in the bush is not a tedious task but how to carry the carcass from the bush to the road is the difficult task. Now, one can say, "we have so many churches in the world." But the question is, how many are there? There is only one church in the world and all the others a second-hand stuff.
Since you cannot practise the word of God, you just decide one day to join another church which you claim belongs to God. Others do not even go to church but remain at home, busying in all forms of idolatory.
Read James 4:7: "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
BE STEADFAST:
Beloved, the above is the main thing you should do. SUBMIT YOURSELF TO THE WORD OF GOD, HIS INJUNCTIONS WHICH WARN YOU AGAINST STEALING, FORNICATION, POLYGAMY, EATING MEAT AND FISH, IDOLATORY, SELFISHNESS, ETC. It is good for one to submit to God who is no respecter of persons. You should realise that the world had long been filled with the works of darkness. It is true that we were conceived in iniquities and born in sin. So, the world was already sinful even before your birth. But since it so pleases the Father to bring you to the this knowledge of truth, you should hold on steadfastedly to the truth. Do not care about the scorching sun, hold on tightly to the truth because there is no other truth.
For the falsehood of the world are things which are unwholesome and they bring failure unto you.
Do not have any other God along the existing one. Love not any other thing more than God and have only God in your mind. Do not worship tree, fish, man or any fetish thing. But always concentrate on worshipping God only, because that is the task that is before all men. And once you derail from doing this you have perished. Those who derail from the truth always console themselves with the saying that there are many Gods, churches, laws, etc. This means they have derailed from the ways of God. GOD HAS ONLY ONE WAY AND IT IS ONLY HIS WAY THAT DIRECTS MAN TO LOVE HIS GOD WITH ALL HIS HEART, AND TO LOVE HIS NEIGHBOR EVEN AS HE CHRIST LOVES HIM. ONCE YOU ACQUIRE THIS UNDERSTANDING STAND FIRM WITH IT FOR YOU HAVE CONQUERED.
Consider the conversation that ensued between the Samaritan woman and Our Lord Jesus Christ as recorded in John 14:20-23. Each and every man comes from God and we are in Him. God is man, so is love, truth, mercy, humility, as well as other virtues. If you are born in the world and you also practise righteousness, it means you born by Him, for one is inseparable from Him.
Every good thing comes from God because He is good. The sun, the moon, stars, the food that we eat,even the words that proceed from our mouths is God. So you should always be at peace with everybody. Do not quarrel with anybody for that is not the lifestyle of the children of God. You should neither hate any person, be infuriated, indulge in diabolical acts, cause division, tell lies, nor ever involve in any sinful act but always love one another as you love yourself. This is what God likes. Once you cultivate this act of doing good in you, do not return to evil.
And your duty is to continue doing good to as many people as you meet for eternity. This is because once you fall back, you have derailed from the path of rectitude and therefore you perish.
You should know that if you are known to be doing good to people , a lot more will look up to you. And whenever there is one that needs help, such a person will be referred to you, because you are a man of God who must help. In this case, if you should be tired and complain about the difficulty of the work, you are doomed. We have to resemble God in all aspects. He makes the rain to fall on both the evil and the good and also the sun to shine on all. This is exactly what is expected of us. You should keep no enemy, neither should you take vengeance nor indulge in any act of idolatory, but rather be devoid of any act of unrighteousness.
If it is uneasy for one who serves God to be saved, what do you think of somebody who runs away from Him or the one who has never known God at all?
GOD IS THE WORD, HIS WORDS ARE TRUE AND INDEED LIFE. He told Abraham to leave his home town at the age of seventy five to carry out His service at a place which pleased God. Abraham harkened to the voice of God. This is what is expected from all those who claim to know God. Harken to whatsoever you are instructed to do by God without complain.
Surrender yourself completely to God, for there is no other way to salvation except knowing Him. He is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, he is life, truth, and by heeding to His voice, you will be saved. In order for you to worship God successfully, you have to pay deaf ears to whatever people may say. You do not have to see or even look at that which others see, you are not entitled to see what others see or even look at. In the same vein, you should not say what others say or do what they do, but always concentrate on God's injunctions. People may query you on why you are so extraordinary; that you should buy drinks for people, among other unwholesome acts. Do not listen, for such counsels are not in your interest. Others may refuse going out with you, giving the excuse that you do not eat meat and fish, neither do you drink wine, etc. Do not mind but be steadfast and hold on to the injunctions of God.
Recall what happened to Peter and John in their course of propagating the word of God. The chief Priest and Elders commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. They retorted and queried whether it be right in the sight of God to harken unto man rather than God; that they should judge. They decided not to stop speaking and teaching in the name or Our Lord Jesus Christ, and proclaiming what they had seen and heard. Compare Acts 4:18-20. In Hebrews 4, it is also on record that our forefathers did not enter the kingdom of God because they did not harken to the voice of God. And if they were unable to enter, then what do you think about yourself.
MOSES RECEIVED THE TEN COMMANDMENTS FROM THE ANGELS AND HANDED THEM OVER TO THE ISRAELITES. They collected them with all amount of happiness but none of the commandments did they harken to. That was why twenty-three thousand of them died in just one day when they committed fornication; some died due to idolatory, others due to war. Hence they all perished. OUT OF THE GREAT NUMBER THAT WAS BROUGHT OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, ONLY TWO WERE ABLE TO REACH CANAAN THE LAND OF PROMISE.

PRACTISE THE WORD OF GOD:
BELOVED, RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING TILL DATE, NONE KNOWS GOD. IT IS ONLY THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST THAT INTRODUCED GOD TO MANKIND. HE BROUGHT GOD TO PEOPLE AND ALSO TAUGHT US THE WAY OF GOD. SO WHOEVER DOES NOT RECEIVE HIS TEACHINGS IS ALREADY PERISHED. BUT ALL THOSE WHO RECEIVE HIS WORDS AND PUT SAME INTO PRACTISE ARE ALREADY SAVED, BECAUSE HE IS THE ONLY WAY, LIFE AND TRUTH. This is why when you start to practise the words of God, some people would try to discourage you by saying that the word of God is too difficult to practise. Do not stop, for though it is not easy, it is life-giving, hence it is said, "No Cross, No Crown."
You are aware of the fact that right from the time Our Lord Jesus Christ was baptised, the spirit led Him into the wilderness to be tempted. Different classes of women were spread before Him, money, food, the sorcerers, necromancers and in fact he was tempted from all angles but God held Him fast. He fasted for forty days and forty nights. That is exactly what is before every child of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ loved carpentry and during the time of temptation series of carpentry work were taken to Him. But he did not harken to this, in stead He held fast to God and all the temptations were over. Such is the way of God. But if it is so difficult for a man of God to be saved, how will it be unto the sinner?
For it is said, "It is impossible that offence will come; but woe unto him through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. (LUKE 17:1-2).
When Our Lord Jesus Christ was led away to be killed, many people followed Him, lamenting and crying. But Jesus turning to them said, "Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children." (LUKE 23:28).
If such a statement was made to those who really loved Christ, what do you think about the ones who do not love Him? You should not, at any time laugh at a man of God. Do not tempt him or say anything against him, for it is not an easy task to pass through this hurdle. And you, man of God, you should endeavor to withstand all the slanders, gossips, and whatsoever may come your way, for once you listen to all these things and slip away from the path of rectitude, your work has perished with you.
ENCOURAGE GOD'S SERVANTS:
To start up a new project is not easy. For instance, the invention of the aeroplane, motor cars and other things. Anything that is not yet known is always very difficult to achieve. It attracts much tribulations and sufferings.
In the same way, man did not know God, every one was as ignorant as the wild animals. It was not easy for Abraham and his wife to leave the comforts of their home and travel to a strange land. But Abraham responded positively at the age of seventy-five.
When Lot and his family were asked to leave Sodom and Gomorrah, his wife thought of their wealth. Was it easy for her to exercise caution and harken to the instruction? She could have caused her husband to derail from God's instruction. It could have been disastrous, if you cause a man of God to derail he would go unpunished, but you will certainly be punished. So, you should try as much as possible to strengthen the faith of a man of God because if he is saved, you are also saved and whatever good thing happens to him, same is to your advantage.
If you read Psalm 15, you will realise that somebody who surrenders himself to the service of God deserve praises. In fact, nobody knows God for Lucifer vowed that no soul shall praise His name throughout the surface of the earth.
And Lucifer tries to enforce this. That is why it is difficult for somebody to rise up willingly and follow God. You do not have to make jest of whosoever decides to follow God. It is because of the challenges of Lucifer that wherever someone tries to serve God, the whole place will be alarmed. Since it is difficult for man to serve God, it is unpardonable for one to scorn at a man of God. Rather you should do everything to encourage him to continue in the ways of God. All men are anxious to follow God but Lucifer has always been the bane of all the children of God.

As recorded in the above text, the people of the world were highly joyous over the fact that the two prophets mentioned were killed by the beast that came out of the bottomless pit. Their bodies were left in the open for three and a half days without being buried. But after three and a half days the spirit of God entered into them; they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon those who saw them. After that, the prophets ascended and the people were amazed. It is now time for the whole world to worship God for they have seen his glory, truthfulness, love and grace.
The situation between a man of God and the people of the world can be likened to when all rats got up and complained that they were so much worried by the cat and as such they should find a way to stop the cat from worrying them. Then one among them suggested that a bell should be hung on the Cat's neck. Then a question arose, who should or would bell the cat? Behold, none could bell the cat.
You realise that it it not easy to serve God. Recall the case of John the Baptist. For merely telling Herod that it was unwholesome for him to marry his step-brother's wife, he was sentenced to death. This has continued till date.

SECOND BIBLE LESSON: 2ND TIMOTHY 3:17

THE JUDGEMENT:
Beloved, the above constitutes the consequence of the world's statement that the blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ should be upon them, their children, grand children, and great grand children. It also constitutes the judgement for whosoever does not know God. You, with all your belongings, can be easily deceived and you end up in hell. This is the fullness of time and God has manifested Himself unto all. But it is not easy to trace His route just as the route of a snake cannot be tracked on a rock. None also can trace the route of a canoe on the sea, likewise the route of birds in the air.
When you plead an alibi for not serving God on grounds of lack of money, vehicle, qualification, etc., how can these things help you? The judgement is on, for the owner of the world is squarely present. Hence there is nothing the government, community, association or individual can do.
In the year 1967, a letter was sent to Ojukwu that his troops should refrain from killing other soldiers. In effect, he was asked to stop the war. But the instruction in the letter was not harkened to. He consequently faced the aftermath of his disobedience. Since then, there has not been any strong government in Nigeria.
Mankind hates God intensively. Anyone who talks about God faces one problem or the other. At times, he is commanded to be killed. They are always ready to discourage any man of God. But is the will of man that of God? We will all see what God will use Africa and Nigeria in particular for.
At the fullness of time, God's promise that all knees, all heads shall bow and all tongues shall sing his praises will come to pass. His words are always true. He said that as it was because of the of one person, even those who were innocent of sin died, so will it be that through one righteous person, even those who are sinners will be saved. God promised that even when it is time, those who were not the children of God, will be called God's children and those who were not the beloved of God will become God's beloved. This is fulfilled for Nigeria which was not regarded as anything, but today, has become the kingdom of God, the kingdom of love, truth and joy.
Though people do not believe in the various prophesies, you should watch out for what will take place in the world soon. The world lacked sufficient people. But now Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit constitute a person for the world. Do not hope on the whites, blacks and the government because they cannot help you. Tell Nigerians, Africans, and the entire world to relax, for God is the person to fight and conquer of them. NO MATTER HOW YOU MAY BE WORRIED BY OTHERS, DO NOT FIGHT ANY WAR AGAIN BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE GOOD WEAPONS. RATHER, GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU. THOUGH THE WORLD IS JEALOUS AND WANTS TO USURP NIGERIA'S POSITION THEY CANNOT BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GOD. Nigerians, Cameroonians, Europeans and the inhabitants of the world are my people. Tell them to put back their swords. Let them sit down quietly to see when the glory of God shall be revealed.
Do not sue your fellow brother to court and do not kill your fellow man. Do not be annoyed, do not get involved in diabolical practices, and do not claim to be anything, for we are witnesses to the glory of God in the world.

HOLD FAST TO GOD:
God has taken dominion over the world. There is no going back, for the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of Jehova God and his Christ. Those who will, in any case, go back to the world, will face a worst situation. The cow has given birth in the market square so there is no need for it to close its legs, so says a local adage.
Do not indulge in sin anymore. God has taken over the rulership of the entire world. He has come with love, mercy, truth, patience, good health, wealth, prosperity, power and every good thing to rule the whole world. When you testify that you have refrained from diabolical practices, telling lies, stealing, fornication, war and so on, then you go back to do these things, what do you think will be your position? God has come down to straighten everything in the world so that we may be one. IN GOD'S SCHEME OF THINGS THERE IS NO DISTINCTION IN SEX, AGE, COLOR, RACE, ETC. IF YOU SHOULD DARE MAKE UP YOUR MIND TO BE DIFFERENT FROM THESE, YOU ARE LOST. IT IS ONLY HIS WILL THAT MUST BE DONE.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said that all those who gathered not with Him do scatter abroad. The question is, who can withstand God? When He closes, who can open, and when He opens, who can close? He has opened all boundaries in the world and everybody is now one. No more division, killing, stealing, fornication, and other vices. The kingdom is really enriched with love and the law is that we should love one another. This is the government of Christ. This truth is known the world over. Anyone whosoever, after knowing this truth decides to go back to the world, is lost.
No one should go back but proceed forward, for going forward is fear of death, but backwards is death itself.
Our Lord Jesus Christ said, "Let not your hearts be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father's house are many mansions: if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also." JOHN 14:1-3
It is only the will of God that will prevail in the world. All other plans are vanity. Whosoever had seen this power of God and refrain from evil, and only go back and start engaging in them has him/herself to blame
Beloved it is said that a stroke of the cane is sufficient unto the wise, let those who have ears hear what the Holy Spirit has imparted to the world.
