THE UNITY OF THE TRINITY

First Bible Lesson: Matthew 23:9-10

"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ."

Second Bible Lesson: 1 Corinthians 8:5-6

"For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."

Golden Text: 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

"Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all."

From this year on, as the Father would like it, He will teach you various things which he had brought along in his parcel. I am now going to start imparting my numerous lessons to the world. The lessons I shall impart to you have never been imparted by any person. I want to emphasize that He will only teach you if He likes, but if He is not disposed, He will not teach you.

I can recollect that many-a-time in the Bible Class, the lesson intended for the class was not imparted but quite a different lesson would be delivered. Today, I want to teach you only one particular lesson. The lesson will not concern abstinence from sins or loving one another but other things. I will teach you about water, sand, stones, trees, fire, bush, wind and all the elements.

This confirms the statement of Our Lord Jesus Christ that "The Comforter who is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance." (John 14:26).

Who knows the meaning of the concept "OMNI-PRESENT GOD"? In the same token, no person knows the meaning of the concept "OMNISCIENT GOD." But I shall teach, and explain and expatiate these concepts one by one to you and also to the inhabitants of the world.

It was Prophet Isaiah who saw the vision as nominated in Isaiah 2: 2-4 that in the last days, the mountain of Jehovah's house shall be established on the top of the mountain and shall be exalted above the hills and all nations will converge at it. People will gather at the house of the God of Jacob, and God will teach them His ways and His life style.

What I want to teach you today is extracted from a passage you have been reading which you do not understand. I know the lesson is quite beyond your comprehension; and even if you read it a hundred times, you will still not understand it. But listen to what I want to teach you.

Though you do not deserve that the lesson being given to you, yet because of the television the lesson will reach those who have been eagerly waiting for the lessons and those who have been searching for it secretly, it will be profitable and rewarding to them. Because people have read so many books, they have initiated into many cults and societies, they have dreamt dreams, they have projected into many planes, and have read the Scriptures also but they do not understand what it all means.

Now as you have been hearing that "only the one and monotheistic God" exists, people construe that (Deut 5:1-7) if mention is made of only one God, it subsumes that there are many "gods." Different persons think that they should have their individual gods. They feel that each person has his own personal god. This is erroneous. I want to reveal this particular lesson unto you now.

It is said: "call no person father upon earth for one is your Father who is in heaven. Call no person lord or master because One is your Master, even the Lord Jesus Christ." The eighth verse of the 23rd chapter of St. Matthew's gospel enjoins that you should not call any person a teacher for there is Only One Teacher who is the Lord Jesus Christ, but you all are brethren.

Now that you have been advised not to call anyone a teacher or Father or Lord; for there is one teacher, one Father and one Lord. I want to ask you how many personalities are involved. Could it be construed to mean that the Father is on one side, the Son on the other side and the Teacher is somewhere else?

Many people always express that there are three Gods in one or "Three persons in one God." Does it mean that three chairs are positioned for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit to sit each on the three chairs? In another passage he is referred to as the Son of man, the Son of God and God Himself. Does that expression explain that there are three persons?

Our golden text has unequivocally revealed that there is only one being who answers all the names. It is said there are diversities of gifts but the same spirit alone. There are differences of administration but the same Lord. There are diversities of operations but it is the same God who works all in all.

This supreme Being is Jehovah. He is also the Father. He is the Lord, and He is the Teacher. He is everything. Do not bother yourself keeping three seats each for the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Your action will tantamount to waste of time.

It is said that the Father has already accomplished his assignment. He is the same personality, that the Son has accomplished his assignment, it is the same Being and that the Holy Spirit is doing His work, it is the same Being doing it and not two.

The expression that our Lord Jesus Christ is seen standing on the right hand of God the Father is erroneous. It is that same God that you see. It is said, He is the Son, He is that same God who is invariably, the Son. There is none other. The Son is the Father and vice versa. This explains why it is said, whosoever accepts the Son, has the Father, and whosoever rejects the Son has no Father. (1 John 2:23). That is why wherever there is no spirit, there is no life because He is that spirit.

That is why He says whosoever receives the messenger that the Father will send in my name receives me and whoever receives me receives Him who sent me. (John 13:20/Matt 10:40)

So we have neither two gods nor two Lords nor two teachers nor any fraction of Him. But He it is who is God, the same is Lord, and he is also the teacher.

The inhabitants of the world should be pitied for their decision to gaze at the sky and wait until Our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. Now that the Father and the Holy Spirit is here on earth, is Our Lord Jesus Christ not here on earth? Is He not one and the same being? You argue that you are all waiting for Our Lord Jesus Christ from the sky. But as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is here on earth, what are you going to do?

Can your observe that when you are elected here, you are appointed a chorister when you begin to sing. After that you begin to see visions; thus becoming a visioner. Count up how many of you are there- choristers and visioners? Thereafter you are promoted and consecrated an elder. How many of you are there? From the position of an Elder you are ordained a prophet. How many of you are there? Then, you are promoted a senior Prophet. How many of you are there? Can you now realize what happens?

Sometimes we argue that there are many gods; that Our Lord Jesus stands on the right hand of God the Father. This is erroneous because there is only one being. He also answers all the names, but He is the same being.

Remember when Philip told the Christ saying "show us the Father and that will satisfy us." (John 14:8). What did Our Lord Jesus Christ answer? Since we call him "Jesus" simpliciter, Philip was desirous to see the Farther, to whom He always referred. Who is this "Jesus"? Is He not the same Father? Who is the Christ? Is He not the same Being? Who is the Son of man? Is He not the same Being? Who is the Son of God we are talking about? Is He not the same Being?

But since Our Lord Jesus Christ was making every reference to the Father, Philip opted to see Him; because they, as disciples, were also desirous to see the Father. And the Lord Jesus Christ asked him saying, "Have I been with you Philip for all that long, yet do you not know me? When you see me, you see the Father". (John 14:9). If you see me, that is the Father standing. Did it not appear to Philip as in the dream? He did not see clearly, because he only saw the Lord Jesus. But the Lord emphasized that He is in the Father and the Father in Him. (John 14:10-11). The words He spoke were not spoken by His own volition but that the Father was doing His work. In what vein do you want to be spoken to?

Another instance is that when Zacharias was ministering at the altar, Angel Gabriel appeared before him and announced to him saying "Fear not Zacharias for your prayer is heard and your wife Elizabeth shall bear you a son and you will call his name John." And Zacharias queried, "whereby shall I know this for I am an old man and my wife well stricken in years." And Gabriel answered and said unto him; "I am Gabriel who stands in the presence of God and I am sent to speak unto you." (Luke 1:13-19). Realize from this that angels also stand in the presence of God, which means He is the same being. Did Zacharias see another god apart from Angel Gabriel?

At another time the disciples told Thomas that they had seen the resurrected Christ. He argued that he could not believe until he sees Him and thrusts his finger into His riven side. Eight days later they were gathered in the room again and Our Lord Jesus Christ appeared to them and showed the nail prints to Thomas. He told Thomas to put his fingers into His side. Thomas said, "my Lord And my God, I believe. Our Lord Jesus Christ told him, you believe because you have seen; blessed is he who does not see and yet he believes." (John 20:29).

At another time He appeared to his disciples again and they were afraid. He told them not to be afraid because the Spirit has neither the flesh nor bones as He now has. The spirit has no bones but He has bones, at the same time He has no bones. At anytime and in whatever form you want to see Him, He would manifest to you in that form.

I want to lead you slowly because of your limited understanding. Everyday I will expound this mystery to you in bits. Let our first lesson be read.

First Bible Lesson: Matthew 23: 9-10

"And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your master, even Christ."

This will indicate to you that it is the Father who is God. He is the Teacher. The Father is the Lord. The Father is the Ruler, the Teacher in heaven, and earth, and for man and child; and why He is called the Son of man is that all of you are men. When you sit, it is the Father sitting down. When you are squatting, or lying down or walking, it is the Father who is in all of you occupying these postures.

That is why He is called the Omnipresent God. In order that this picture may be clearer to you, read Genesis chapter one. I do not want to plunge you deep into the concept today so that you may not be confused.

You will then see why after God had created Adam, He told him to have control over every creation. Where did God Himself remain? What position did He assume after giving the rulership over everything to Adam? This is what had baffled the philosophers for quite some time. After God had created everything, he gave the authority to Adam to rule over the fishes, the birds, the animals and everything. (Gen 1:26). Where did God Himself go to? Over what did He rule?

He further authorized Adam to give names to all the created things. (Gen 2:19-20). If this is the picture, where did He go to while leaving the earth for Adam? Since the wisdom of God is greater than that of man, that is why the world is so much confused.

Learn from yourself. It is another person who knows what you look like, but you do not know what you look like. Without somebody telling you that you are beautiful or that you are tall or short or fair or black, you cannot testify about yourself. That is how it is with God. You do not know how you eat, you do not know how you speak, but others know all about you.

What you secretly do inside the room is proclaimed by somebody who is in Lagos. Do you not ask yourself how this person comes about to know you? It is said that we are labourers together with God, we are God's husbandry, we are God's vineyard. (1 Cor 3:9).

You can pray for somebody but you will not know that he has some sickness. When you pray for him, he becomes healed of his sickness, but if he does not tell you that your prayer has healed him, you will not know that he was sick. If he does not tell you what he saw while you were praying for him, you will not know.

There are things that you do thinking that they are not known to any person. You do not know that your actions have become a slogan even amongst your servants, and in the streets. People are making fun of your action even though you think that it is top secret. He is the God of hosts. He is everything. He is everything and is in everything. He is the one doing everything.

Right now you are planning how you will deceive the other person. That person is also thinking how he will deceive you. You are deceiving him, and he is deceiving you; and both of you know that you are deceiving each other. Since it is one spirit working, God who is in both of you, continues to play the game. When you get home, you will boast that you have deceived him. He will also boast at his home that he had deceived you. And so nothing is hidden from God. God has planted us as flowers. He can appear to you anywhere.

Remember when Our Lord Jesus Christ told His disciples that there are some standing here who will not taste of death until they see the glory of God? He says this in Matthew chapter sixteen and today people have composed a song with the statement. (Matt 16:28/ Mark 9:1/ Luke 9:27).

Six days after, as they went to pray on the mountain, He was transfigured before them in a bright cloud. And that was the glory of God since they wanted to see something. There was Moses, Elijah and Our Lord Jesus Christ appearing before them. Peter promptly said: "Lord it is good for us to be here, let us make three tabernacles one for Moses, one for Elijah and one for you." (Matt 17:1-4).

They saw Moses, Elijah and Christ with their two eyes. What more could they say? That was the glory of God. But how many people were there? It was one person. It was He alone appearing before them. He is called the God of hosts.

He is the only one found in all the planes of manifest. In the sun, in the moon, in the stars, in the waters and everywhere. If you go to India you will find a man working wonders. If you also go to United States of America you will find a man doing wonderful works. You go to United Kingdom, and also find a man doing wonders. But how many people are they? It is He alone and not three persons.

Let no person deceive you that India has her own god, Russia has her own god, United States of America has her own god, and Nigeria has her own god. God is one. There is one Father, one Son, one Teacher, one Lord, one Spirit. This means that there is one Being.

He has revealed Himself to man as He wishes. To prove His Omnipresence, He can go to a place and turn into a high mountain. People would deify it to have their problems taken away. The mountain can speak and people hear. The mountain can walk to you in the dream, and so the people will regard the mountain as their god. People will claim to be worshipping a mountain. It is not the mountain they are worshipping. It is the same God.

If God does not wish to reveal himself, you cannot know Him. It is at this end of time that He promised to reveal himself to everyone, that a neighbor shall not teach his neighbor and brother shall not teach his brother to know God, because they shall all know Him from the least to the greatest. (Heb 8:11).

And so if this generation knows Him, it is because of His promise. Otherwise He would continue to remain here in a different form without our knowledge of Him. And you will continue to give Him various names. You can call Him John, Jehovah, Jah, Michael, Wonderful, Mermaid or Juru. But He is the same being.

That is why He is called the mysterious God. I will not reveal most of His mysteries now. You know that the Jews looked for a sign, and the Greeks seek for knowledge. All of you here are seeking for signs and knowledge that is why you are frequent at the Bible Class. But you do not want to practice the main lesson which is love one another.

Since this is the end of time and He has said that man should eat of all the fruits of the trees in the garden except one, and the day he eats of it, he shall die, since they wanted to be as wise as God, they went and ate of the fruit. That is why everyone is thirsty of knowledge.

You want to know everything. Where does the sky end? Where does the water flow to? God is wiser than man. That is why He drove man out of the Garden so that He may not also eat of the tree of life, and live for ever. Since man ate the forbidden fruit has he been as wise as God? Has he lived forever? Our second lesson will now be read.

Second Bible Lesson: 1 Corinthians 8: 5-6

"For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, as there be gods many, and lords many. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him."

How do you understand that statement? We have one Father of whom are all things, and one Lord by whom are all things. Does it mean that there are two gods from whom all things come? It is the same person, one person alone. He does not want you to know more than that. There is one God and one Lord.

I will tell you why among the Jews' women and children are not counted during census of any population. Even in many nations today, children and women are not counted in the population.

When they left Egypt, the adult male population from the age of two to 21 was 600,000; women and children were not included. Another day I will tell you why children and women were not counted in the population. I have come to teach you everything, and I will gradually lead you to the wisdom of the truth. I will also tell you why it is said that a woman has no soul. It is true that a woman has no soul. I will tell you why, and also why the Moslems do not allow their women to enter into the mosque. I will reveal all these things to you.

I will also show you why today, women and children have been brought in to have equal rights with the men. This is to prove the statement that whatever I shut no man can open, and what I open, no one can shut. This is to reveal His Omnipotence and His Omniscience to mankind. It is the wisdom not possessed by any person in this world.

It is the power which no one in the world possesses. That is why it will take a long time before these things are revealed to you. And this room will be filled to its capacity. I just scratch on the surface of the mystery. There are many things to be taught you, and I will make your eyes to be clear with understanding.

There is nothing in this world apart from Him alone. You say you see a ghost, or mermaid, or tree, or concoction, He is the one that you see.

He has said that when the Comforter will come, He will declare unto you all that He hears. He shall glorify me because all that belongs to the Father are mine. (John 16:15). The spirit is one but there are diversities of gifts. It is the different gifts which induce us to complain that satan has come, prophet or apostle has come.

Right now, I hear people saying that since the Lord Jesus was killed this power is not from God because it is too vulnerable. This goes to confirm what He said: "verily, I say unto you, he who believes in me will do the works that I do and greater works than this shall he do because I go unto the Father." (John 14:12).

When you hear this, you boast that there is someone who does mightier works than the Christ. It is not so. I will explain the meaning of these texts to you from the Bible. It is not a thing of one day or two or a thing to be done in twenty years.

From the beginning there has been one entity, one spirit, one Lord and one man, not two. Many statements made by the Christ are like mental arithmetic. He says, as you have done this to one of these little children for my name's sake, you have done it to me. (Matt 25:34-40). How is it that when you do something for a child, you are doing it to Him? Do you not understand that He is that child? He is everyone that you see.

He said, when the Son of man shall come in His glory, all the nations shall be gathered before Him. And He shall separate them as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will keep the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. He will say to those on his right hand, come ye blessed of my Father inherit the Kingdom prepared for you right from the foundations of the world because I was hungry and you fed me, naked and you clothed me, sick and you visited him, in prison and you visited me. Then shall the righteous ask when did they do all these things to him. Then the king shall say inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these you did it unto me. (Matt 25:30-40).

And so you will see that He is the sick patient you see in the hospital. He is the person you find in the prison. Do Moslems, who destroy church buildings and kill people in Nigeria, know God? Do you know that the person you are beating is God? Whatever you do to any man, you are doing it to God. He is the leper you meet on the road. He is the beggar on the wayside.

But you beat them and throw them into jail, and boast that you know God. You do not know God. No person knows anything about God. No Christian, Buddhist, Hindu or Jew knows anything about God. No single soul knows anything about God. It is now that I am going to reveal Him that you are going to know Him.

I want to use an earthly situation to illustrate a heavenly situation. There was a certain Queen who so loved God. She went to the House of God every day. One day she decided she was not going to God's house again; wondering why it is that she alone has to visit God; and God does not reciprocate her gesture. If God does not come to her house, she would not go to God's house again.

The Father told her that she should prepare for him the next Sunday. She was very happy and asked her rulers to prepare everything - plays, decorations, songs and dances - were all in the readiness for the reception of God. On the morning they were expecting God, what they saw was a leper. The leper was coming on the road which was laid with carpet and beautiful decorations. The whole crowd went upon the man and beat him up. They did not know that he was God.

Brethren, till nightfall they did not see any other person. The Queen was angry. She argued that is it said that God does not deceive. How is it that God has deceived her?

God told her not to be angry; that He was visiting her the next Sunday. The woman was pleased, and started preparing again for God. What happened on that Sunday? They saw a man with nose cancer, whose ulcer fumed with obnoxious smell. When he walked up to the gold pavement, they bundled him into the gutter. Throughout that day no other thing passed through that way.

The Queen was angry again and she complained that God had disappointed her twice. God told her that He came on the first Sunday. Whether she does not remember the leper they beat up and threw away? God went on to describe the clothes of the people who beat Him up, and that He was the one. The woman wept bitterly that the way of God is very delusive and difficult to know. God again reminded her of the man with the nose cancer whom they cast into the gutter the following Sunday and told her that he was the one, and that he will never visit her again. The woman was frustrated. And so brethren, you can see how God is. Do you know Him? Do you want to know Him? When will you know Him? Let our golden text be read.

Golden Text: 1 Corinthians 12: 4-6

"Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all."

Right now all the inhabitants of the world maintain that Brotherhood is ghost, and juju, and beelzebub, dracula, mermaid. The reason being the mighty works which they see in Brotherhood. They declare that the man has power, but no one knows the source of His power. I thank God for this testimony.

They continue to ask if you have ever seen a man who can be seen in Lagos, in New York, inside water; and so they conclude that he is a wizard. Especially when they hear the Father making reference to twenty years time, they ask, will he still live for twenty years? You have heard that there are diversities of gifts, but the same spirit, and there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord, and there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

John the Baptist came and ate nothing, drank nothing. His food was locust beans and honey. They said that he had a demon, and was not God. Jesus the Christ came eating and drinking, and they said He was the prince of Beelzebub, a gluttonous man, a wine bibber because He healed the sick, the blind and the dumb. They declared that He was using no other power but the power of demon the prince of Beelzebub. (Matt 11:18).

The disciples asked Our Lord Jesus Christ to increase their faith. This was so because He did not bestow upon them the Holy Spirit. That was why they had no faith. It was not His work to bestow the Holy Spirit. His work was to hang on the tree.

It was said Elijah shall come before the Messiah to straighten the path of God. It is the same God who was in John to precede the Messiah and straighten His paths. He was both the Lord and the forerunner. He was John and He was Jesus, He also was Peter. But you did not know this.

He spoke in parables because it was written in the prophets that He will speak in parables, that when the Comforter will come, He will lead you to the accurate wisdom of truth. He is the Comforter. He was the one who made the promise about the coming Comforter, and He is the One in our midst. How many of them are there? It is only one person.

Moses was in Egypt under bondage for about forty years. But he fled the city after he had killed a man. Why did he kill a man? Did he use a gun or a machete? Was it his intention to kill? By killing the Egyptian he ran to another country, and lived there for forty years. What made him return to Egypt? It was God who appeared to him and asked him to go and lead the children of Israel out of the bondage of Pharaoh.

When Moses asked God who He (God) was, God said "I AM THAT I AM." (Exodus 3:14). Who was Moses to have stood before king Pharaoh and his army. What weapons would he have used to deliver the Israelites from the hands of Pharaoh? Who was responsible for that action? Was it not the same God?

He did this in order to manifest his Omnipotence, Omnipresence and Omniscience. You can remember that when Moses died, the Israelites mourned him for thirty days because their god was dead (Deut 34:8). And till today no one knows his grave. The Israelites thought that they would perish because their god was dead. And God was looking at them. Remember the statement that when all hopes are lost, the Saviour appears. At that same time, the spirit descended upon Joshua. He did the same miracle on the Red Sea as Moses did. He struck the sea and it was divided into two. And the Israelites were strengthened when they saw the same signs. It was Joshua who led them to the promised land. And He was God.

That is why it is said that there are diversities of gifts but it is the same spirit. It was the same spirit that was in Moses that also led Joshua. You have also heard that at a certain time the Israelites asked God to give them a king.

Eli, the High Priest, had two sons; and he was the only prophet in Israel. But when it was God's own time, Hannah who was barren, was given a son named Samuel and she used the boy to pay tithe to Eli. Eli behaved like an over-fed man. What am I going to do with this? Here are my sons and I am still alive. What do I do with this little child? He did not know the mind of God.

There are diversities of operations but it is the same Lord. Do not attribute the different operations you witness to mermaid, or ghost or juju. It is the same Lord. Right from the beginning, He is the one who does everything.

I will reveal to you the meaning of that statement which says: any city without a prophet perishes. How can there be a city without a prophet and it perishes? Wherever there is no spirit, there is no life because He is that spirit. He is the prophet and He does everything.

One day God called Samuel because he lived his life well - pleasing to God. God revealed Himself to Samuel and all that was going to happen to Israel, about the Ark of the covenant, Eli and his two sons. God revealed to him, the outcome of the war. That is why a spiritual song says Jehovah says that He will not forsake the house of Eli. For you to make plans that you wish to have a child to step into your shoes is not sufficient.

It is too late for you to complain that you have no brother or relations and start planning for yourself. Eli had two sons but his two sons died one day in the battle. When Eli heard about the outcome of the war, he fell and died. The three of them died and the Ark was captured. Samuel took up the position.

Can you see the Omniscience of God. Caiaphas the high priest said that if they allowed Jesus to live, he would continue to gather the people unto Himself. That it was good for one person to die than for the whole nation to perish. (John 11:49-52). Was there any understanding in him?

People are so foolish to argue today that they are waiting for the day that "Obu will die". When Christ died, did He not rise again? When He rose again, did His work not continue until this day? Right from Moses to Elijah, when did God not exist? He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient. He is everywhere.

When you read Genesis chapter one, you will see that the spirit of God was upon the surface of the waters. When He created Adam, He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. That was the same Spirit which he breathed into Adam. But the gifts are different.

When I say that it is the Holy Spirit who is doing the work, you say that it is Jehovah. Who is Jehovah? Who is Christ? Who is the Lord? Who is the Holy Spirit? Who is the Father? Who is the Teacher? The fact is that the Holy Spirit was in the beginning before anything was created. He is God, He is the Father, and He is everything. Now He has come, and He is in everything, doing everything. He is everywhere and His rulership has neither beginning nor end. If you like to weep or laugh or escape, the choice is yours.

Brethren, one stroke of the cane is sufficient unto the wise. He who has ears to hear, let him hear. May God bless His words. Amen!
