"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."

"Now the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of our Lord is, there is liberty."

"The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God."

The Father is a Spirit. The Lord is a Spirit. For this reason, you are representing that spirit. That Spirit is the one working in all places throughout the whole world. Whenever somebody sees you, it is not you that is seen but the Father. All of us sitting here do so on the Father's behalf. As we walk, we are walking on His behalf. Whoever sees us, has seen Him. Whoever receives us, has received Him. Whoever rejoices with us, rejoices with Him. Whoever worships, does not worship us but worships Him. Whoever loves us, does not love us but the Father. Whatever statement we make, we are not the speaker but the Father. When you stretch forth your hand, you are not the one doing it but the Father. Whatever action you take, it is not you per se doing so, but the Father who dwells in you.

We have no problems at all. This is not the time for one to make plans. The Father is a Spirit, the Lord is a Spirit and you are a spirit. It is the spirit that does everything. This is His reign. A man has a building, the spirit also has a building. A man has a city, the spirit also has a city. A man has a vineyard, the spirit also has a vineyard. Heaven and earth belong to the Father and all that in them is. Our houses and cities abound and we are in turn His city and building.

We do not have any problems. This is to indicate to you that we are all one and that the Father is all and in all. This is not the time to worship God carnally. This is not the time to go to the mountain to request anything from the angels. The Father Himself has come down to dwell with man. The Son Himself has come down to dwell with man. Man himself has come to dwell with God.

Brethren, you can realize that we have no other problems. Whether or not you listen to him, he is doing his work day and night. Our problem is that our eyes are evil. That is so because when anything is done, we stand to question the rationality of God doing it that way. Such questions are asked because your eyes are evil. During the creation process, He ended each day by saying that everything was good. There was no day, that God saw as evil. Since our thoughts are evil, that is why our eyes are also evil. That is why it is said, "to the pure all things are pure, but to the unbelieving and those who are defiled, even their consciences are defiled." (Titus 1:15).

You will notice that on an occasion where something is shared equally, elders, kings, and rich men will be unhappy and will query why they should have to be degraded to mingle with the minors. Why is this so? The reason is that their eyes and minds are evil.

If it is admitted that God is one, the Lord is one and we are all one, tell me why there should be division. It is only one God operating amongst us. He has himself borne testimony that we are His sons but you begin to argue that a certain person is not a child of God. If he is not a child of God, whose child is he? You argue that you are better off than the other person. Who has made you different from the other? I am His child. You are his child. They are His children. We are all His children. Let us no longer say that somebody is not good. Let us not question why certain things should happen the way they do. Let us believe in God and appreciate His beauty and glory.

This is not the era of man. It is not the era of angel. It is not the era of any other thing or phenomena but it is the Holy Spirit alone operating in the whole world. Do not be surprised at all by what you see and hear. Do not be surprised at the goings-on. Whatever you see is wrought by His fingers. He had said, true worshippers shall worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. (1 Cor 15:50) Except we are led by the Spirit, we cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. It is only the Spirit that sees. It is only the Spirit that walks. It is only the Spirit that knows everything. It is only the Spirit that speaks. We are only testifying about His glory. The Spirit is now in water, in the moon, and in all things. Do not bother yourself any longer about the things you hear and the things you see and what you think. It is the spirit of the Father that is working. Let us rather know that we are representatives. We are representing somebody greater than us. We should all listen to Him, and obey His bidding.

There is no more time to deny that you are a child of God, or that you are one with God. There is no such time again. At all times, we are always with Him. He also dwells in us. Whether you are in the farmland, or on board an aeroplane, or inside the water, or in your house, or along the road, you are with Him and He also dwells within you. We are labourers together with God in His vineyard. We are God's husbandry.(1 Cor 3:9) You are not separate and distinct from God. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, the Triune God is here on earth.

It is for this reason that you are told not to drink, or fornicate, or tell lies, or get angry, or envy, or bear malice, or indulge in the preparation of concoction because the Father has come in person, no longer sending any person.

Do not be disturbed about what you hear, or witness, or whatever transpires because the Father is doing His will. Do not go to seek advice from any person at all but listen to the great spirit which is the Father because He is the Ruler of heaven and earth and the water and on earth beneath the water. This is the time of joy for the children of God. This is the time of peace for the children of God. This is the time we all hoped for. The eyes that have never seen God will see. The ears that have never heard God will hear. The heart that had not accepted him will accept. The head that had never bowed will bow. He had vowed: "As I live, all knees shall bow to me and all tongues shall confess." (Isa 45:23 / Php 2:10-11).

Do not disturb yourself any longer that you are working with your hand or your leg. He has not sent any person but He has come by Himself. He is the doer of everything. We are only witnesses to His own work. Leader's Representative simply means "witnesses." These are they who witness about the glory of God. He alone can cause something which does not exist to exist and what exists to cease from existence.

As He had already said, "I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you." (John 14:18). This is quite true. He is with us day and night and had always been with us. He had known us even when we did not know Him. Do not seek for God in the flesh. Seek after Him in the spirit because He exists in the spirit. Do not go to beat up a person or abuse a person, or think or plan about anything for He cares for you, cares for us and is ever doing His will, as is His way of life.

If in the past you had thought that you were not a child of God, or that God had forgotten about you, or that God does not know you, know it from today that the Father Himself bears witness with your spirit that you are His son. As God is a Spirit, so are you a spirit. As Our Lord Jesus Christ is a Spirit, so are you. As you are a spirit so is both Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Father. You have the right anywhere to proclaim, "I and the Father are One."(John 10:30). You are in the Father and the Father dwells in you.

What then is your problem? There is no problem anymore. Even in the thick forest, say, "I and the Father are one." Even if you remain inside your house, stake the claim, that the Father is here with you. I live in the Father and He dwells in me. Realize the fact that whatever has been done, is done by the Father and not by you. Do not claim you have anything, or that you are responsible for anything. Always say that it is the Father who has done all things and is responsible for whatever happens.

When you read Romans 11:1-4 you will see how Elijah prayed that they had killed all of God’s prophets and he alone was left and they were seeking his life. That will prove what the world is to you. Throughout the whole world, right from the time of Adam, no one wants Jehovah God and his Christ. Upon all that, they feign righteousness. The moment they hear anything pertaining to God, a fight will start. But he is the stone which the builders have rejected. No person believed in Elijah and so God took him up finally before their eyes. They repented of their sins and started weeping, “O! When is he coming back again? We should not have done that to him,” they lamented. But it was too late. Since they told God that they are looking for Elijah, God told them that he would send him again.

Since it is the Father who owns everything, it means also that you own everything. Since the Father is in everything, you are in everything. From now on, that is the representative that we are. This is the concept of the Triune God you have been hearing about.

This explains why people now argue that this power is not of God. This is so because the Father had finished His work, the Son has completed His work; and now is the time for the Holy Spirit, when the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are working throughout the world. Till the end of the world there will be no division, what had been separated is re-united.

Since it is the Father who owns everything, it means also that you own everything. Since the Father is in everything, you are in everything. From now on, that is the representative that we are. This is the concept of the Triune God you have been hearing about.

We have a cause to be grateful because this is the time to worship God in spirit and in truth. Our fathers went to the mountains to see God. They went to Jerusalem to see God, but could not find God. They climbed up roof-tops, went into thick forests to hear the voice of God but today He is conversing with you. As you are sitting, you are hearing Him. People were desirous to see God and because of this, made idols, stones and other things and worshiped as God. But now, you transact your affairs face to face with God.

Our joy is full because the moment you call Him, He answers you readily. Now you have somebody you discuss your matters with and He hears and answers you. I do not think there is any person whose joy is not full. Your heart is full with joy. You have peace, and glory.

You are greater than all the world. All the statements of Our Lord Jesus Christ are made manifest in this generation. Remember when the Scribes and Pharisees asked him when the Kingdom of God would come. He told them that the Kingdom of God does not come by observation, neither can one say lo here, or lo there, but the Kingdom of God is within you. (Matthew 24:23 / Luke 17:20-21)

The occurrences and daily happenings are geared towards the manifestation of the glory of God on earth. I want you to open your eyes wide and watch carefully the type of cinema that the Holy Spirit is going to show throughout the world. Everything that happens everyday is to reveal the glory of God.

You are true witnesses to the fact that during the Civil War in Nigeria, most especially on the 18th of October 1967, no church denomination, or hospital, or office opened for business, but Brotherhood continued in the self-same spirit. Not even the essential services were provided from the hospitals, or police stations, or any other center. Brotherhood continued singing, dancing, and shouting and there was nothing to flap its wings.

There is not one day that the Father does not work. The Father works, the Son is working, and the Holy Spirit is working. Our Lord Jesus Christ said through the mouth of Paul, "Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound." (2 Tim 2:9)

No person can imprison the Word of God. We should be very watchful to see what the Holy Spirit will bring. Do not assess anything from the carnal standpoint. If you do, you will fall. If you were to know where you are as well as this time, Brethren, you would have sung and rejoiced. Do not resemble John because he did not have the type of God you possess today.

FIRST BIBLE LESSON:JOHN 4:24
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."

When you came in here, did you find us clapping hands? Have you seen us burning incense? Do you find us lighting candles? Have you found us spraying perfume? Have you found any idol? Do you find us eating? Do you find us drinking any type of wine? Have you seen us engaged in quarrelling, or in fighting, or in any trouble. It is the Father who moves about alone.

What is God? God is a Spirit. What is Spirit? It is the Word. What is the Word? The Word is God. What is God? God is Power. What is power? Power is Truth. Who denies that there is power? Who denies that there is truth? Minus the Word, what exists? What do you find in the court? Who decided cases, and who gives judgments? Is it not God? In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. If you, therefore, want to stop the Word from its work, it means, the president will no longer speak, the governors will no longer speak, and even commercial activities will cease. If you want to stop the Word, no person will speak in the world.

Brethren, you are instructed that no one should persist in worshipping mermaid, or in drinking, or in falsehood. But for the Word of God, there is nothing that hinders it. Minus the Word, there is neither day nor night. How can you hinder the Word of God? You are called Matthew and that is the Word. Okon is the Word of God, Effiong, Ekanem or tree, is the Word of God. Can you hinder it? It is impossible. The good morning you wish somebody, is it not the Word of God? Hello, my dear, come here, are all Words of God. How then do you order that one should not speak the Word of God? Is it not clear to you? The Father has forgiven us since we know not what we are doing.

Everything will be imprisoned but the Word of God cannot be imprisoned because he will reign supreme in heaven and on earth. That is why it is said, "Say not in thine heart, who shall ascend into heaven? (that is to bring Christ down from above or, who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead)." (Rom 10:6-7) But what saith it? The Word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart the Word of faith, which we preach: "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Rom 10:9) Think not in your heart that God is of the size of a storey building, or that he is like a tree, or that he can be compared to anything. Do not think in your heart that God is water, or mountain, or rock that you should bow to worship. God is the Word and that Word resides in you, and you are the Word. It is because of unbelief that people argue that they do not want the Word of God or that they do not want to serve God, and that God does not exist.

Without the Word, the world cannot exist. If the Word departs from man for one minute, that person will no longer live. That was why when Our Lord Jesus Christ worked wonders they said because He did it on a Sabbath He was not of God. He said to them, "my Father worketh hitherto, and I work." (John 5:17) A son cannot do anything except what he sees the Father doing will he do.

There is nothing in the whole wide world which can hinder the Word of God. Whether it be war, or death, or lack, or tribulation or hunger, none can hinder the Word of God. Because our salvation and redemption come from Him. That was why Our Lord Jesus Christ instructed His disciples to pray without ceasing. (Luke 18:1).

He also said through the mouth of Paul, "I charge thee, therefore, before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick andthe dead at his appearing in His Kingdom; preach the Word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." (2 Tim 4:2)

In the day or during the night reprove and rebuke. This is the fullness of time for effective preaching of the Word of God. It is also said,"For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God." (1 Cor 1:22-24) The Word of God which people look at disdainfully is salvation to those who believe, whether, they be Jews or Greeks. How do you say that it should not be preached? Prayer is our bullet, the Word of God is the spiritual sword. Where do you want me to keep the Word of God?

Whoever prevents you from preaching the Word of God does not want you to live. It can be likened to a person trying to remove you from Brotherhood. Somebody may promise to give you twenty million naira to induce you to withdraw from Brotherhood. Be sure this person has tried unsuccessfully to end your life, and he feels the only way left is to first remove you from Brotherhood and thereafter have his way easily.

This is the time for us to pray for all the inhabitants of the world, rebuking, reproving, exhorting them with all long suffering. You have erred to refer to Brotherhood as a church, or a prayer house or a service center, or a healing home or a synagogue. You have already been given a name. Remember when the Ethiopian Eunuch opened the book of Isaiah, and Philip went near and said to him, "Understandest thou what thou readest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me?"(Acts 8:30)

In Isaiah Chapter 2 it is said, "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's House shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above all hills, and all nations shall flow unto it."(Isa 2:2) And many people shall go and say, come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us his ways." Brotherhood is that mountain of the Lord. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is called Christ Universal Spiritual School of Practical Christianity. In this school, we have the refresher course scheduled three times a year. People have to come from all parts of the world to take part in the courses. It is for the course that you have attended this Pentecostal Assembly.

We do not worship any phenomenon. God is a Spirit and true worshippers must worship God in spirit and in truth. This is the Kingdom of God. It is not the Kingdom of the world. We are those who serve God in spirit. We have no confidence in the flesh. We have no business with quarrelling, fighting, stealing or any mundane thing but our business is practicing the Word of God. This school of love teaches us love, patience, mercy, truth, peace and all other virtues of the kingdom of God. These are the lessons we, the inhabitants of the world, those from the water and from the mountains, have converged here to receive. The teaching is from God Himself.

That is why I continue to say that even you here do not know where you have found yourselves. Since you do not know where you are, how can people outside know? You should know what place you have been elected so that you may also go and give the good news to all those who are not as fortunate as yourself.

As the Lord is a spirit, God is a spirit, and you are a spirit, the spirit has no place to dwell but is universal. You are not a Nigerian, or African, or European, or of the Western or Eastern block but you are universal throughout the world. As God does not sleep, as the Son does not sleep, you do not also have to sleep. This task has neither the beginning nor the end, it is an everlasting assignment. The second lesson will now be read.

Second Bible Lesson: 2 Corinthians 3:17
"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."

Have you heard what is read to you? It is said, the Lord is Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. For this reason, there is no discrimination here. There is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female, slave nor freeborn. Our Lord Jesus Christ is all and in all. It is a great pity to hear a lot of people argue that a woman should not preach and children should not perform certain functions. They create distinctions between people and between newcomers and old members. Some claim their seniority over others. While some claim to be pastor, some argue that they built a bethel or argue that they are charm removers, or prayerists. Such claims are not admitted here. Our Lord Jesus Christ is all and in all.

It is because you do not know this place and you do not keep this place as distinct from other places, and go to show forth to others what you have seen, that is why you are treated as other people of the world. If somebody dressed in black robe commits murder in a town he visits, how do you think whoever goes there clad in black robe will be treated? The second visitor may not know that sometime in the past, a man in black had killed somebody. When he appears with black, how do you think he will be regarded? They will only conclude that the first man has reappeared.

It is for this reason that it is said, evil communications corrupt good manners. It is because of you who claim to be members here that people do not know Brotherhood up till today.

The Kingdom of God that people had waited for is what you now find. The Comforter, the world had sought for, has arrived. Wherever the Comforter is, there is peace, truth, unity, grace, joy, mercy and all attributes of God will be found. It is for this reason that in this Kingdom neither idleness, nor stealing, nor fornication, nor vain glory, nor anger is admitted. There is neither white, nor black, nor male, nor female, nor lord, nor pauper. Our Lord Jesus Christ is all and in all.

If this lesson were to be clear to you, and if you had gone to inform your government, your clan head, your church denomination, your friends and various persons at various times, they would have realized by now that this is the Kingdom of God. With this realization, you would not have been numbered amongst church denominations and other religions. What this Kingdom has brought is greater than the whole world, it is what this world has never witnessed. Firstly, the position which Adam, your first father by transgression fell from, you have been re-instated to, i.e. on to that royal throne of the lost paradise. Also, you have been infused with power in heaven and on earth. In addition, you have been vested with power to rule over all the angels and spirits.

It is for this reason that you have been told to feed on fruits, not to commit fornication, not to be angry or sow the seed of discord. There is only one spirit, one Lord, one Teacher. Not that it is a law that you will not live if you fail to eat fruits, but you have to do so in a gradual manner; for Rome was not built in a day. The only commandment we have in this Kingdom is that we should love one another.

He has taught us His ways: righteousness, truth, meekness; and has groomed us up gradually to attain the standard required of us. Come here no more for the sole reason of having a child, or husband or becoming healthy. Rather come here as a person attending the highest University. As the secretary of the Leader's Representatives had offered in his prayer, ask that God should give us the ability to receive and practice the gospel.

Your problem is that you come here to receive prayers and struggle for positions. No person even listens to what is taught since he had already been saturated with old wine. Since you had passed through the University with your strings of degrees, and you profess that you are a professor, you will not want to bend low and receive this new teaching. I am not saying that all that you studied in the Universities and governments, and other facets of the societies are bad. They are good in their own way. But know that when the priesthood is changed the law must of necessity be changed in conformity.(Heb 7:12) As you had served the earthly man, you must now serve the Holy Spirit.(1 Cor 15:49) As you had gone around learning, stealing, fornicating, concocting, murdering, drinking, and other vices, you now have to learn how to exercise self-control, truthfulness, mercy, unity, peace and all good things.

You had heard the lesson which marked the commencement of the Spirited Children's Meeting, thus, the Kingdoms of this world are become the Kingdoms of Our Lord, and of His Christ. (Rev 11:15) Since the priesthood is changed, the law is also changed. Throughout this period, from this week on, we have to listen to new instructions concerning how to live in this new earth.

You heard what Our Lord Jesus Christ said, "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would have loved his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." (John 15: 18-20) "Remember the Word that I said unto you: The servant is not greater than his Lord, a messenger is not greater than his master." (Matt 10:24)

If they kept my saying, they will keep yours also, if they kept not my saying, they will not keep yours. If you were of the world, the world would have loved you.(John 15:19/17:14) But now God has chosen you that you are sons of God. It is for this reason that He spends this opportunity to teach us His ways. You should no longer look at the world. He teaches us His ways and life pattern. We have to be with Him forever and walk with Him wherever He goes to. We have no business with any worldly affairs. Because God will employ neither trees, nor stones nor iron to right the wrongs in the world but He will use human beings. His own children will work hand in hand with Him for the upliftment of His glory. Let the golden text be read.

GOLDEN TEXT: ROMANS 8:16
" The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God."

What tidings of joy can be greater than these? Can you contest the authenticity of this statement? Are you not a child of God? Is it not exactly the same thing that was said when Philip told Nathaniel, "We have seen the one whom it was written about. What did Nathaniel reply? He said, can any good thing come from Nazareth? Philip said to him, come and see. Jesus saw Nathaniel coming to Him, and said of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile. By this action Nathaniel shouted, Whence knowest thou me? and wondered if He was the Christ. Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou was under the fig tree, I saw thee. “Nathaniel answered and said unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel." (John 1:45-49)

What a joyful news today? The spirit itself bears witness with your spirit that you are the sons of God. If, therefore, you are the children of God, must the children of God not resemble the Father? That is why we have to remain before His feet and be taught of Him, do what He wants, love what He loves, and hate what He hates. You do not look at the world, or listen to the world, or live like the people of the world or go back to be entangled with the people of the world.

Take Our Lord Jesus Christ as a living example. When Pilate asked Him, "Speakest thou not unto me? Knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? Our Lord Jesus Christ told him, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above." (John 19:10-11)

The whole world waits anxiously to see the manifestation of the sons of God. This is the time that the children of God are going to be manifested. You are the children of the most high, heirs to the Kingdom. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star have no other name apart from children of the Most High. As children of God, you have no share in stealing, hatred, division, concoction, and a reprobate life. Your duty is to reprove and rebuke them, showing them love and peace.

You are not only expected to preach but to practice as well, and live a good and holy life, speaking the truth, being merciful, humble and live peaceably. Do not sow the seed of discord, nor hate any person.

There is a spiritual chorus which says, "Do not run away from the lions; come in, because the lions had been chained!" We are also made to understand that saints will judge all the inhabitants of the world and all the angels. (1 Cor 6:2-3) “Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?” For this reason, all eyes are on you. As children of God, you have to live a life commensurate with your status. You have to be perfect even as your heavenly Father is Perfect.(Matt 5:48)

You have to listen to God. You have to look unto God. You have to surrender yourselves unto God. You have to love Him, walk with Him wherever you may go.

You are no longer Nigerians, or Africans, or from the West. You are no longer men, or trees or fishes but you are now the children of God. As long as you continue to show the expression of love, people will accept that you are the children of God. You have nothing to do with the flesh. You have no particular place of origin, all the towns owned by God are yours and whatever you own belongs to God. You have no relations, or child, or house, or money, but God owns everything. Consequently, all that is owned by God belongs to His children.

We have to love what He loves and hate what He hates. You do not have to make your personal choice. It is a great joy for the Spirit to bear witness with your spirit that you are the children of God.

We should, out of the happiness of being the children of God, forsake all the vices that defile.

Brethren, a stroke of cane is sufficient unto the wise. I do not intend to be tedious unto you. Those who have ears let them hear. May God Bless His Holy Words. Amen!
